Topic 1: Zine, Self-publishing, and Sharing your Practice

Find out why everyone should create and publish their own zines. This topic includes a presentation on the benefits of zine making as a method for documenting creative practice, and an optional hands-on tutorial or workshop. As a result of attending this creative event, attendees will be inspired to make zines.

Topic 2: Tools for Effective Decision-Making: Choosing Between Creative Opportunities?

Discover how to evaluate and select the right creative opportunities. In other words, this topic will provide you with practical tools to avoid bad opportunities and make informed decisions with confidence. Talk content can include a follow-up discussion supplement.

For example, this topic was an event in the QUAD’s public programme in March 2024.

Topic 3: How to find your Creative Community 

Learn how to connect with other creatives and find support. This workshop will introduce you to the resources and opportunities available in the creative community and share the experiences of No Jobs in the Arts directors.

For example, the topic feature in a talk to Blackpool School of Arts, with AA2A, in July 2024.

Topic 4: Critical Friends

No Jobs in the Arts can lead group critique sessions and invite constructive feedback from peers and industry professionals. They use a positive and supportive environment to facilitate open discussion and growth.

A recent crit was ‘Sound and Vision‘ for Broadway Cinema’s Near Now Programme in July 2024.
